Summer Pastel Wedding Perfection: A&A at Four Seasons Hampshire
Pastels have made a comeback in a big way in the wedding world, and I for one love it. Alex and Alyssa’s summer pastel wedding at Four Seasons Hampshire was the most gorgeous softly coloured, finely detailed day that celebrated everything that made them them and made the most of their venue. Expect alternative ceremony ideas, a bespoke couples’ crest, and storytelling florals – all wrapped up in a beautiful Suzanne Neville dress and pretty pastel joyfulness.

The vibe for this wedding was ‘elevated dinner party’, set against the backdrop of the English countryside. The Four Seasons became the perfect choice, with the ceremony taking place in its walled garden.
After a first look, Alyssa swapped the traditional act of walking down the aisle for entering the ceremony by dancing up it, a joyful moment for which her sister joined her. She and each of her bridesmaids carried antique Tussie Mussies from around the world, as a nod to Alyssa’s debutante days in Colorado, and McQueens Flowers created bouquets of pretty pastel florals such as flowering artichokes, delphiniums and butterfly ranunculus.
Each bridesmaid was in a different colour and cut of dress, Alyssa’s entry song was upbeat, and the ceremony was conducted by a family friend – each of these details added another layer of wonder and playfulness for this gorgeous couple.

Before moving inside for the reception, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the orchard with a 12ft cheese and charcuterie table to enjoy – stepping through the doors, they were greeted by vintage periwinkle blue floral door frames which hosted the escort card display, guiding them to their seats.
If this is your vibe, you’ll also love the elevated Alice in Wonderland vibes from this tea party wedding at Four Seasons Hampshire.

In here was where the details of this summer pastel wedding really came alive – a bespoke crest by Brigitte Vitali decorated everything from invitations to candles and pillow decor, featuring elements of both the bride and groom to create something that could only ever be theirs. Softly coloured blue linens, butter yellow napkins and florals, and produce such as artichokes brought their tables to life, with ‘less is more’ top of mind to bring a touch of that relaxed dinner party vibe.

There were portraits at golden hour and a cake cutting as traditional wedding elements, but when it came to the bouquet toss Alyssa had a fun idea in mind. We attached ribbons to the bouquet, and welcomed female guests to hold one each while she danced in a circle; then, releasing each ribbon one by one, only one woman remained who was then passed the bouquet! Details like these are always some of my favourites at weddings; personal twists on classic ideas.

Alex and Alyssa’s day really felt so authentic and like it was celebrating them, and I loved all the pretty summer pastel wedding details – from their gorgeous grazing table to the lovely looking cocktails, and the soft and dreamy colour palette.
